Don't go chasing acceptance from others. Be exactly who God created you be. Do exactly what you know you are supposed to do. Say exactly what you are led to say. So many sacrifice their purpose, gifts, calling, blessings, and ultimately their lives on the altar of public opinion. You spend countless hours seeking validation from a hundred people, when thousands, maybe millions, need you to be unapologetically YOU. You spend your whole life tailoring your words to fit what people want to hear, your actions to please a select few, your methods to gain access from a certain circle, your life to meet the expectations of others. Yet, you continue through life unfulfilled because you have found validation in everything but what you are supposed to. All the while, those that need the real you that God created you to be are sacrificed for the acceptance of a group for which you aren't even called to. The cliques at church accept this version of you, social media followers are approving of this version of you, and you've found acceptance with the popular crowd, whether it be in church, or otherwise. However, the greater question is, "Do you like you?" You will never live out your purpose pleasing people. Be you, please God, and those that God has called you to will surely come to receive what he has placed inside of you.
